Dear Swifties:

The radical theocratic terrorists that targeted the Taylor Swift concert are functionally the same people that want to destroy Israel.

The ideology is the same. The willingness to kill civilians is the same. The goal is the same.

When you support Hamas, you’re supporting the same people that wanted to assassinate Taylor Swift and her fans.

@briannawu @Colman Well, that definitely sucks, I hope I don't come across that way. Israeli policy can be bad without it being antisemitic. I was 100% in favor of a response to the 7 October attacks, but don't think this is the way to do it.

@briannawu @Colman It pains me that you think that. I have a strong Jewish patrilineal line on my mother’s side and wouldn't be here if a single decision fell the other way in WWII, yet I can still see that what is happening in Gaza is not something to be proud of. In fact, it's disgusting.

@mingo No, you're still antisemitic. Having a Jewish grandparent that maybe raised your mom who then raised you isn't "being Jewish." That's as meaningful as saying you're 1/16th Cherokee, so you can wear a war bonnet and it's not racist

@EmilyK I am not saying I am Jewish. What the fuck, stop calling me antisemitic, you don’t even know me. I was hoping discourse would be a little more elevated here.

Again, I mentioned my heritage because it was part of my upbringing and it’s really weird after a lifetime of defending Jews to be accused of being antisemitic because I *also* defend Palestinians.

Please, try to be a little nicer here.
