There is an oligarchy/aristocracy that must be elevated above all else.
There are peasants who must be brutally subjugated.
All Conservative policy flows from these two base principles and they buy votes from the peasants with a bad faith promise that they're going to be promoted to first class citizens if Conservatives can win enough power to make it so.
@randahl There is no hypocrisy in their eyes believing that Conservative politicians, as first class citizens, should be exempt from the laws and ethics that govern the rest of us.
They're not against abortions enough to vote against a politician who's had or paid for one, they're just against abortions that give peasants any agency.
Adultery or any other major sins are similarly forgiven on the same basis.
