Signs you have carpenter ants
1. keep finding tiny tools
2. city sends tiny permit to affix to baseboard
3. try to move a book, are told “keep this entrance clear, ma’am” because of “cement delivery coming later”
4. Your dish rack is dismantled “because it’ll be cheaper to rebuild from scratch”
5. no room on the dresser due to like 85 tiny pickups illegally parked there
6. husband keeps hearing high pitched wolf whistles when exiting shower

Lesbian carpenter ants aren't too unlikely, but statistically speaking...
Ants don't really have gender as we know it? Workers and queens are nearly always the same sex. Ants do have roles/caste
worker, queen, solider etc. and these function a bit more like gender but also not really.
And the other kind of carpenter ants can be identified by faint music with words like "Close to You", "Rainy Days and Mondays", "We've Only Just Begun", "Top of the World" and such.

In my neck of the woods it’s a 50/50 mix of pickups and 7th gen Corollas, with the occasional 2005 Mustang sprinkled in there for variety.
e: Oddly enough, the pickups, which have more ground clearance and can go off-road a bit, are usually parked somewhere on the street, whereas the Corollas and lone Mustang are parked much further into the job site, meaning they off-roaded cars not meant for such things.
