Biden's immigration policies are as fucked up as trump's, even if he leaves out the concentration camps. His enabling of genocide of Palestinians is beyond the fucking pale.

But a trump presidency would be exponentially worse, and democracy wouldn't survive it. Abortion, workers' rights, unions, voting rights, right to protest, freedom of movement, climate change, disaster response--all would worsen

So Biden it is

This is why we cannot let the Quiet New Deal stay so quiet

If politicians don’t think they will get credit for reducing administrative burdens, they just won’t do it. What do 11 down-on-their-luck factories being retrofitted to build EVs have in common with overdue raises for four million salaried workers or a billion dollars clawed back from millionaire tax cheats?

I Know How Much You Care

I'm feeling so frustrated at how easily the left has split into those dreaming an unfeasible scenario to replace Biden four months before election day, and those who will not abandon the only viable candidate--incumbent and with a capable VP to take over if needed.

I get the utter terror of a 2nd trump administration--I'm a target too!!!--but seeing white "progressives" fall so easily for the right's tactics is fucking disheartening.

Will you look at that.

#NateSilver now works for Polymarket, #Polymarket was found by, among others, #PeterThiel.

And now Nate Silver has spent a lot of capital on calls for Biden to drop out.

One time is coincidence, two is the beginning of a pattern, three is selling their soul for easy cash.

If voting didn't matter, Republicans wouldn't have spent decades working to disenfranchise Democratic voters.

So it's time to work getting those voters to the polls.

Write Letters to Voters with Vote Forward and Indivisible · Indivisible

Join Vote Forward, Indivisible, and volunteers across the country to write letters to voters! We’ll be celebrating the release of more congressional district-level letter writing campaigns to likely Democratic voters in highly competitive U.S. House races. We know that even a small impact on turnout can translate into thousands of votes at scale—and those thousands of votes can ultimately make a huge difference in elections. That’s why we’re writing letters to voters in key U.S. House races. These letters are part of The Big Send—our collective effort to write 10 million letters to voters this year. We’re writing letters and sending them between October 1 and October 29, to ensure they arrive when they’ll have the most impact on turnout. Whether you’re writing letters for the first time or if you’re an experienced letter writer looking to refine your message, this event is for you! The most common question we receive at Vote Forward is: "what should I write?" This letter writing event is the personalized, in-depth answer to that question. Vote Forward staff will help you craft an effective, personal message to voters. In addition to the training, you'll join volunteers from across the country to learn more about the impact of the letters we’re writing, and have your letter writing questions answered by the Vote Forward team! Letter Writing is proven to increase voter turnout, and you can do it with a group of friends or on your own from the comfort of your couch. Plus, it’s one of the easiest ways to turn your anger, passion, and hope into real action. RSVP today, and we’ll let you know how to join this event. Invite your friends and family, too and encourage them to become letter writers this year! Never written letters before? No problem! Visit [votefwd.org/instructions](https://votefwd.org/instructions) for all the information you need, and sign up for an account at votefwd.org/indivisible. Then you can download letters from the campaign of your choice, and we’ll offer guidance on how to write and prepare your letters at our event!

So apparently there's a white women hashtag going around ( #IUnderstandTheAssignment ), that's essentially another exercise in white women centering themselves, no matter what.

So, go read Lori Green's post, "The Problem with White Women" (heads up: she's a white woman just turned sixty). Read it, internalize it, share it--and if it doesn't apply to you? Read it, internalize it, share it anyway.
