Did anyone else's take more than a couple days to go through too, or is that just me?
I would add the number of accounts here to your sales pitch. The way to sell Mastodon is to show how many people are here, especially compared to other non-Xitter platforms. Point out that we have far more users than BlueSky or TrumpSocial.
You should also mention that other governments and candidates have a presence here and point to their accounts, so as to show it can be a trusted forum for an official government presence, and that it is not just a place for civilians.

Lastly, explain why it is better than #Threads. (Too many politicians think that being on there is enough.) Explain that we can't always see Threads, but they CAN always see us. Simply being on Threads alone cannot reach everyone in the Fediverse. But being on Mastodon does-- as it would mean they can still reach Threads.

Es sollte aber auch darauf hingewiesen werden, dass nur US-Bürger bzw. GreenCard Holder spenden dürfen. Die "Contribution rules" stehen zwar unten drunter, sind aber leicht zu übersehen - ich jedenfalls hätte sie fast übersehen und wollte schon auf den Spenden-Button klicken.
Es sieht jedenfalls nicht so aus, als würde man technisch davon abgehalten, auch von außerhalb der USA zu spenden, und ich weiß nicht, ob und wie das kontrolliert werden kann.
