I wrote a long piece on gardening and religion this morning and published it right before Joe’s news…bad timing. I won’t keep you long here except to say, as a rural Democratic activist, I’m pissed, but I’m in it to win it. I am very aware that folks in the party dismissed Democratic voters and bypassed our voices to pressure Joe Biden into his decision. The media has played an outsized role and the wealthy donors made up their mind and there was nothing any of us could do about it.
