@catsalad Great! I thought the trolley problem had only two solutions. From now on I'll opt for the third!

@Datterich Unfortunately, this solution only works for trolleys with freely rotating bogies. Traditional trolleys often use simple two-axle chassis. Even more these simple two-axle designs seem to be popular again with modern ultra long trams like the Bombardier Flexity.
