Mathias Hasselmann@Datterich Unfortunately, this solution only works for trolleys with freely rotating bogies. Traditional trolleys often use simple two-axle chassis. Even more these simple two-axle designs seem to be popular again with modern ultra long trams like the Bombardier Flexity.
So, you're saying: "It depends"?
That's also a law students' answer to the trolley problem. ;-)
@Datterich Rather an engineer's answer... But actually, it's quite interesting how this third answer reveals that there is a whole universe of other answers.
