Like, we ARE still talking about the paper that printed lab leak conspiracies right before fascist conspiracy theorists held a "blame Faucci" hearing like, less than a month ago right? Telling me you're unsubscribing from the Times now is a lot like saying "I can't believe what Father Coughlin said about the Jews on his last radio show; he'll never get another donation from me again!"
I'd brag a little less about that one if it were me; but it couldn't be, because I don't buy fascist newspapers
No really, check the date yo:
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/06/03/opinion/covid-lab-leak.html
This is the most fact free unhinged shit I've read in a while, and they timed the publication of it out with the whackjob GOP fascist "Covid hearing" where they basically just kept asking Faucci if he was literally Josef Mengele and then getting mad when he didn't say yes...
Why the fuck do you have a Times subscription to cancel? I could do this at least 100 more times, this year alone?
This was one of the things that made me start to see the tub of shit I was floating in - especially because at the time i was beefing with family over the significance of Mike Browns murder. Not in 2020 form yet but definite schism on reality/morality/ethics and media uptake especially.
The New York Times: Now the highbrow not-so-cheap imitator of the Murdoch Post.
Rainbow Reaganism in print.
Of course, they were always the official house organ of ZioN*zi expansionism and eliminating Palestinians since the good old days of Abraham M. Rosenthal as executive editor/publisher. His Op-Eds on Israel and those PLO "terrorists" were something to behold. Having Bill Safire as the house Reagan Republican nut-punching liberals and Leftists was the bonus.
Someone linked me something and following some breadcrumbs I found a NYT opinion writer justifying their piece they wrote.
I don't really care about the piece they wrote. I do care that someone wrote something, and then claimed- 'some people didn't understand, which can be partially blamed on me'
Just infurated me beyond reason. Your literal job is to present your opinion in a convincing manner, and failing to do that is entirely, not 'partially' on you.
@AnarchoNinaWrites
Probably wasn't super clear there.
Granted, they've been writing ridiculously awful pieces for the past...some time now. But now someone who is churning the awful things out has to take to social media to try to explain in small text blobs the article they wrote and published, to justify and say they were right.
That they aren't even doing a good job of writing the awful things just feels insult on top of injury. Still expecting a big anti-Pride thing from them, too.
