@breadandcircuses The lesson of the 60s was supposed to be that we question the mission, but over the years it became "support our troops" amid stories of how soldiers were mistreated after returning from Vietnam. The two perspectives aren't mutually exclusive, but one certainly seems to have replaced the other. That's not an accident. It's a masterful job of redirecting the narrative.
