Yeah, it might rain some this #weekend but the heat should break so you're going out, right?

What's going on this June 21-23 weekend, #Boston / #Massachusetts ? I mean, Its Summer Solstice on the 20th, you've got plenty of daylight to waste :)

@knizer Green River Festival! Greenfield, MA, so not really "Boston" but if you're going out, you might as well go out west!

@sbourne oh that is pretty cool and wasn't on my radar, its about 2 hours from me. and tickets starting at 80 ain't bad, considering MA prices.

Cake and Fleet Foxes headline fri and sat respectively.

Any choice bands on the schedule you can recommend or offer any related tips? I'll write something up for the thread, but it looks like parking and camping is sold out already?

@knizer The beauty of this festival is that they always have a lot of up-and-comers, and they go for a wide range of types of music. There's always something for everyone. Fantastic festival for kids. There's satellite parking, usually free, with free shuttle buses to the classic fairgrounds. Oh, and they always have great food vendors.
