Voting on #ChatControl has been postponed – supposedly because there wouldn't have been a majority for the proposal. @viennawriter I'm relieved that there doesn't seem to be a majority for this proposal, at least not now.

On the other hand, I think it is time that bright minds at companies like #Signal (@Mer__edith), #Google and #Meta come up with alternative proposals to counter the heinous problem of child abuse material on the internet.

Privacy is a fundamental right, but so is the right to live and the right to sexual integrity.
