njsg@galaxydinodragon Are you exclusively looking for answers from people using DEs or would "Other" apply to people who don't use DEs too? If so, only to those who are in a graphical interface, or also those exclusively using Linux virtual terminals (perhaps using the framebuffer to render graphics)?
@njsg other can be non gui, mainly just how you interact directly with the machine
@ galaxydinodragon ok, went with "other" then. non-DE tiling WM on X11, in the distant past I've also used daily non-X11 linux framebuffer with the virtual terminals. I can also use my setup with a terminal if I want. The desktop's GPU is handy and needed for graphical stuff, but quite a lot of stuff can be done from a terminal too, which can be interesting :-)
