In 1894, the 1st commercially viable #electric #vehicle — called the Electrobat — was on the road, quietly & cleaning shuttling people around.

The Electrobat was a 2,500 lb car propelled by a lead-acid battery — which were swappable in just 3 minutes(!) — achieving top speeds of 15 mph & covering distances of 25 miles on a single charge.

130 years later, we have people clamoring #evs can’t lead the way when in fact they always have.
