Rüdiger BenninghausOn Corpus Christi today, the traditional boat procession ‘Mülheimer Gottestracht’ took place on the Rhine along the borders of the formerly independent city of Mülheim (Cologne). The main ship ‘RheinFantasie’ was accompanied by various ships, yachts, canoes, the water police and the DLRG (German Maritime Search and Rescue Association). The procession went from the Schifferkirche (boatmen's church) of St. Clemens (at Mülheim bridge) first to Deutz bridge, then to Cologne-Stammheim and back to St. Clemens.
