Time for boarding! Super short layover in Vienna, we're scheduled to land when boarding starts.

My travel app claims we arrive at gate F04A and depart from F05. So ... theoretically no problem. Assuming they don't put us on a fucking bus.
Only bus was leaving towards the next plane. Even met another #RIPE88 attendee during boarding.

Hallo Krakow! The train from the airport is nice, except for the tricksy broken ticket machines.
On my way to my hotel, then to hopefully see people hanging out at the #RIPE88 venue or nearby.
Apparently getting to my hotel is a twisty maze of passages.
I can see the big road, but gotta do silly things to get there.

Ended up having dinner at the hotel with a fellow #RIPE88 attendee. It's so nice to have these random meetings at these meetings. 
The temp on the thermometer doesn't look that bad, but it feels pretty hot here in Krakow. Wishing I brought shorts, I'd be a lot more comfortable at #RIPE88 this week .
Because I care, and I can, I volunteered and was approved by the Working Group to be Co-Chair of the RIPE Database WG during the session at #RIPE88.
The gods are angry at the hubris of #RIPE88, and are throwing a storm thunderstorm at the Airport.

Ummmm Austrian Airlines is putting us in a B787-9 from VIE to BER.
Best guess is repositioning the aircraft, and toss a few passengers on it for good measure. The gate didn't look completely packed, but let's see what "boarding complete" looks like.
Boarding complete, and most seats are full. Huh.
Found an article that says Austrian is replacing their current long haul fleet entirely with 787s and are currently using them within Europe for training and familiarization. Makes sense, as long as they can pack in enough passengers.
The airline lost my luggage during my travels yesterday, but the courier just delivered it today.
And thus, ends my #RIPE88 travels.
I was notified my luggage was delayed as soon as I turned on my phone after landing, and was able to arrange delivery of it to my home even before I stepped off of the plane.
