Michaela Sue@sugar @nash Over the years a bunch of candidates for various positions have had time slots scheduled with me and I just do mass spectrometry, they just end up talking about mass spectrometry bullshit with a very nerdy trans woman for a while, it never entered my mind to ask any such things, it's more fun to talk about chromatography!
Sam Levine@beige_alert @sugar @nash This sounds like my interviewing technique where I'm often person number 5 or 6 out of 8 or something silly like that and after a few basic questions end up asking about what they think about whatever ridiculous research idea or problem I have running in the back of my head. It's great when they actually toss around ideas!
