When social justice protests swept the country in 2020, tech companies mostly welcomed employee activism. The Gaza demonstrations are getting a much different reception. @zoeschiffer talked to folks at Apple, Google Amazon, and Coinbase about it: https://www.platformer.news/tech-protests-gaza-israel-workplace-activism/

@caseynewton @zoeschiffer it’s unbelievable to me that any questioning of either the US government or Israel is immediately called political. And if the “political” term isn’t enough to stifle ANY discussion, then the Big Gun term of “antisemitism” is called up. Then if those 2 terms are not together successfully squashing any discussion, the “anti-Zionist” term is pulled out. And it continues on. I would think it a really bad time to be in America, Jewish and opposed to genocide.

Tonight, as you rest, think about hostages, their families.

I do. -- I also think about poor Palestinians that are caught in ambition of Iran & Hamas. We all know where the real blame is -- but that conversation doesn't flow that well in cocktail parties!!

@snijsure @cobalt @caseynewton @zoeschiffer Yes, we do all know where the blame is when it comes to the tens of thousands of Palestinians that have been killed, but it's blatantly Israel responsible. Your gaslighting is not exactly convincing.
