Cannot imagine how off the vibes would be in the alternate universe where Biden didn't drop out and the entire week was just nervousness about whether Biden would be able to get through the acceptance speech. #uspol
Here’s my dream plan, which would take 5 years and probably less than $5B:
* We replace Social Secutity Numbers (which are like having a username with no password!) with disposable, single-use IDs of similar format, perhaps by adding letters so we have enough identifiers
* People could get a new number anytime from the Social Security Admin website or app, by calling a number, or by going to a post office
* Credit scores and credit info brokers are required to only have info you choose to share

@gadgetoid Is there any remote chance you might be interested in hacking a plug-in fan so it can have much more granular speed control and good smart home control?

I've tried to find a fan with Matter/HomeKit, hell, even one that lets you adjust the speed without using a custom app, and failed.

This is a remarkable graph.

You might have heard that "EV sales are slumping", "people are starting to avoid EVs", etc.

That's not what's happening.

What's happening is "Tesla is cratering so hard that it's skewing the aggregate market data."

Or, put differently, "Tesla is failing harder than the entire rest of the market is succeeding, combined."

I triple-question myself over every decision meanwhile at a $1 billion valued company:
