@davewoodx Gentoo on the desktop. Gentoo on my personal server, unless it's a tiny server which doesn't compile quickly, or a server from someone else which I maintain.

@davewoodx I stick to #Debian where possible on servers for the rock solid stability and dependability it provides, but prefer #Fedora on my desktops for better modern hardware support and up to date packages.

I do have some other distros around for special use cases - Rocky for FreeIPA, Alpine for ntp to preserve some resources, and a few custom live appliances based on tinycore.

@davewoodx Interesting poll! I use AlmaLinux (RHEL derivative) on servers and Fedora on my laptop. What are you running these days?
@davewoodx Nevermind. Just say your follow-up about the Mac mini.
@DazeEnd Thanks. Going to give it a spin.
@davewoodx I use Ubuntu at home (for the moment) and AWS Linux 2 or something on the servers. I didn't resist AWS's incitement to change as Ubuntu is going weird.
@davewoodx I use #Ubuntu and #Debian on servers but #Fedora on the desktop. No particular reason why, I distro hopped and it just sort of worked out that way 🙂
