Simultaneously, Horn gets a little sloppy by applying the cognitive term “white” with a physicalist intention of “maximal Lambertian reflection”.

It’s fair, because we all are ridiculously sloppy here due to our cognition obfuscating obvious complexities around “whiteness” and “blackness”. I believe this is due to our cognition “doing what it is designed to”, and providing us a biased computational result, as opposed to “seeing the complexities clearly”.

Black and white are perplexing.

Small stats for the fun: GIMP 3.0.4, released 10 days ago, has been downloaded a bit more than 2 million times (only counting platforms where we have stats: our download server, Flathub stats and MS Store stats).

The previous version (3.0.2) had been downloaded about 10 million times (again, known numbers only).
