My dad and I played this series together when I was a kid. I had a friend over who was a Braves fan for Game 7. I think I was almost as excited to win the tabletop series as I was the actual series.

Back on the bird site, three years ago, there was a GM for each team. We had a big draft. Later on, there were trades, too, which explains, for instance, why Dixie Walker is playing for Cleveland.

Side note on that batting race: CLE's Tetelo Vargas, a late acquisition, is at .393. He has a ghost of a chance to accumulate the 477 at-bats needed to qualify for the crown.
CLE has 66 games to play. Vargas currently has 145 at-bats. If the Tribe forced 50 or so 12-inning games.... 🙂
