I really had to trim down the size of this video to upload it to the Mastodon. It kept timing out on me. And the resultant trimmed file renders kind of small on a smartphone screen. Any tips on sharing #video here with a more user-friendly workflow?

@MarkBrigham We have an around 100mb limit on video uploads due to some tech constraints. You may be able to reduce the quality of the video for upload which might help a little bit but isn't ideal. Alternatively uploading to a @peertube instance and sharing here might be a good option for longer or larger content :)

Thanks. My early (failed) attempts were a 28mb video. The one in this thread was 8mb. Will look into peertube.
