#CphMarathon in T minus ... approximately one hour. This is it.
Today, I will do my first full marathon. 42.195k through Copenhagen. The weather is good, the course flat and forthcoming.
I am humble, nervous, excited, and ready.
My goal: to cross the starting line
My hope: to enjoy the race
My pipe dream: to finish in 4:15:00 or less

My plan is to run the marathon as four consecutive 10k races. 10k is doable - I have run that distance numerous times over the last year, and I can do it again. 10k is easier to deal with mentally than 42.195k.
For these four "races", Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Taylor Swift, and The War on Drugs will provide the soundtracks, respectively.

This was fun! And hard! But mostly fun. The feeling I have now (apart from *very* sore legs) is that I want to do this again.
My goal: to cross the starting line ✅
My hope: to enjoy the race ✅
My pipe dream: to finish in 4:15:00 or less ❌
I finished in 4:38:25. Not as fast as hoped for, but who cares? I'm beyond proud and happy.
