@Siucraym @itsfoss I wouldn't. Newcomers would see websites not working and may not blame them on Firefox, but on Linux in general (because almost every distro preinstalls it). And i have other issues with Firefox to the point I cannot use it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Firefox until these issues are fixed.

@Siucraym @itsfoss @cameronbosch

I would suggest Floorp instead of Firefox. Cameron, what issues do you have with Firefox? I've been using fork of Floorp called FireDragon (Garuda's spin) and I don't have any issues.

@backtoanalog @Siucraym @itsfoss Isn't Floorp not FOSS though? (I do use a non FOSS browser, but only because I cannot find any better alternative.) Firefox is missing PWA support (they actually are now the ONLY browser to lack this feature and pulled it), are not run well, almost killing off Thunderbird, the general lack of direction with Firefox, controversial decisions that they feebley try to defend but fail, and many more issues.

@cameronbosch @backtoanalog @Siucraym @itsfoss Floorp is actually open source, it’s based on FF after all so uses the Mozilla license.

@orbitalmartian @backtoanalog @Siucraym @itsfoss Interesting, because I had heard that Floorp wasn't under the MPL...

@orbitalmartian @Siucraym @itsfoss @cameronbosch

If you read Floorp licensing info, it says MPL 2.0.

Try contacting developer with your PWA issues. That feedback will be important to them. Maybe they'll be able to help.

If Firefox and forks don't work for you, you can use Brave (It is a nice Chromium alternative).

@backtoanalog @Siucraym @itsfoss @cameronbosch Or Thorium or my personal favourite and which I use on all my devices, Vivaldi.
