#Ubuntu #LXD has a shmancy web-UI!

👉 sudo snap refresh lxd --edge

It's "bleeding" --edge, all right! 😅
I had to create the 1st instance via cli.

I'm trying to figure out whether i can run #pihole and #nextcloud within the non-upgradable 2GB RAM envelope of that wee #Wyse3040 thin client.

The containers aren't fully installed, yet. But they're running at ~500MB of RAM.

#Proxmox was a dead end - uses 1.5GB without running a single container!

@platymew It works great, but I still need to checkout Incus https://github.com/lxc/incus on Debian and migrate stuff at home. 👍

@milosz i've read that Incus exists, on a search results page. If the bleeding "--edge" turns out too wonky, i'll try that.

It's my 1st day playing with LXD, and i'm already in love with the #ZFS integration - just point "lxd init" to a zpool and it does everything, even snapshots! 🥰
