Let's do something Putin will hate. Let's rejoin the #EU. And if that means we have to have cheaper food and fuel; the right to live, work, and retire in 31 other countries; higher environmental standards; and peace secured in NI, then that's a price I'm willing to pay...

looking back at when the UK was in the EU, taking the most and giving the least, vetoing any attempt to build a political union (common fiscal policy, common defence etc) and focussing on the "common market" only, refusing any sovereignty concession (no euro, no Schengen), nurturing a role of preferred US partner in Europe etc, I doubt that Putin would actually hate the rejoin of UK. Unless it was on a totally different basis, like... the opposite of how the UK used to stay in the EU.

Dropping the pound and joining the euro would be less than the bare minimum.
We should first get rid of the unaninimity rule that grants veto power to single MSs and only after consider new memberships.

They surely lost a lot with that move and they will have to nagotiate new rules, Its not my job to make them Pay I would be glad tho to have London in the EU again its a cool country and I love shengen.
