I bought a fancy new battery charger for my motorcycle, the CTEK CS FREE. I don’t have access to a mains outlet in my garage, and it would be nice to have as backup if the battery runs out.

Unfortunately it turns out that it doesn’t support the standard CTEK connect cables. I can only use the included cable with crocodile clamps. So I can’t connect it to the battery tender connector. This removes quite a lot of the usefulness of it.

@ollej seems like an easy fix with a knife and a couple wire splices.

@ollej I get that. This is the one place I feel like I have no issues. I am hesitant to do a lot of stuff on my own but electric, no fear.
