@rbreich how many times has Biden announced that now? We're all used to being disappointed. Trump is shitty but knows how to put on a show, Biden should upstage him with actions instead of words.
Incremental change is pathetic. When Biden is gone and we look at the big graph of student loan debt over the decade, no one will be able to tell he did anything.
Just reading downthread from something in my timeline (no link, no pile-on), and read: "Incremental change is pathetic."
That's our problem, right there. How has global education vastly improves? Incremental change. How has malaria been all but eradicated? Incremental change. How has life-expectancy in the west increased over recent decades? Incremental change.
It's this hunger for "events" that blinds us to seeing the important trends. It's so childish.
Ignore the noise. It is created to keep his name in the news. It will not matter anyway. Toast.
@rbreich Right? Biden has done a lot to help working class Americans. Yet I see more stories about how Biden hasn’t done anything or hasn’t done enough.
Meanwhile Trump gets above the fold reporting on every inane thing he says or does.
