I do wish @Mastodon offered the ability to translate posts to the end user, so we can decide when to translate posts. Most frustrating that we can't.

A load of #Japanese posts came through, over night, but only a few of them offered the ability to translate. Most annoying. 🙁

It would be really nice, as the reader of a Toot, to set its language when the Tooter did not, and thereby enable the automated translation. Or to say "translate from Klingon" if we know the toot is in Klingon even if it's set to Esperanto.

@DopeGhoti @Mastodon indeed, as while I love Japan, it'll be years before I can fully read Japanese language posts.
