*So* tired (I'm sure you're tired of me complaining about it, ffs, sorry) but I got a quick walk around the neighborhood for my 5500 steps. I had a busy day at the food bank so I'm up to 6800 now. I need sleep. I slept 11 hrs Friday night & 8 on Sat night. But the last 2 I've only slept 5-6 broken hours. Tonight I'll go to bed early. Next 2 days are going to be absolute chaos with a lot of moving parts. I think I need to write out a schedule. Stretching first though.

This is the best gentle #yoga #stretching video I've ever watched. If you spend a majority of your work day sitting, you should be doing this daily. Your body will thank you! She gives great modifications throughout. Listen to your body. Even if you only do 5 or 6 minutes, keep doing it every day & you'll be surprised how quickly you see improvement.

My body is so pissed at me right now. Ow. I need a hot stone massage. Heating pad will have to do. Totally the same.

(Years ago I had a wonderful hot stone massage at a beachfront spa in Maui. There were huge windows that opened to the ocean. A multi-sense experience. It was magical. So indulgent. Once in a lifetime thing & I was so grateful I had for it. I still am.)

@Heidiknits I’ve been meaning to try yoga for awhile. Not sure if I’ll do it but I need something to stretch my muscles because I walk every day but I spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer. Thanks for sharing!
@jodyschmid I'd love to hear your thoughts after you do it. No pressure but it was therapeutic for me.
@Heidiknits I definitely need to do something to stretch my muscles. It didn’t bother me before but now it does when I have too much passive sitting time!
