I told Eugen that boost was better than reblog, because most people don't know the term microblogging. He replied that boost was worse because people associated boost with stealing cars (???).
This is exactly why Rockstar has been slowly backing off the whole "car stealing" branding of GTA and focusing on other aspects of the game, they are just losing money hand over fist because consumers just hate the idea of stealing cars and are upset to even be associated with it.

But, that's still not what most people think about when they hear the word "boost"?
Yeah I think video games are pervasive enough now that for most people "boost" conjures up images of mario kart tracks and the glowy boost pads on the ground that make you go fast.
I feel like if around where I live you did throw "boost" around in the context of cars people mighttt understand but it isn't a common phrasing at all.
yes, sorry I should have put a /s
@Alonealastalovedalongthe @glyph @Ember
Sorry, my own fault for taking it a bit too seriously 😁
Thank you for your apology, the problem is that I am not very funny so I don't want people to miss my sarcasm and then be wasting precious joke-potential, so really it is on me if I make a joke that somebody misinterprets as serious.
Also, /s I am *hilarious*......
