@chris Couldn’t agree more. Removing the monarchy from our system of governance would be some work, but it’s time to be done with any relations to the crown, no matter how purely ceremonial.
@cjgyt it could be a wonderful national affirmation and building exercise, especially if done (as it must) in a way that might reconnect and reconcile with First Nations and Indigenous sovereignty
