@chris Couldn’t agree more. Removing the monarchy from our system of governance would be some work, but it’s time to be done with any relations to the crown, no matter how purely ceremonial.

@cjgyt it could be a wonderful national affirmation and building exercise, especially if done (as it must) in a way that might reconnect and reconcile with First Nations and Indigenous sovereignty

@chris the @CBCNews would rather question the trust we may have in the royal family after Kate’s photoshop, than question the trust we may have in pathological liar #PierrePoilievre. A perfect example of the #FourthEstate in Canada. And our complete lack of trust in #CBC. It no longer advocates for citizens and position political issues. It screams #NationalEnquirer headlines. #CanadianMediaFailsMiserably.

@chris I seem to remember a BBC one-off comedy about the Royal Family losing their jobs and ending up living on a council estate. It was pretty funny.

All the continuing news about them is just tabloid trash and I have no time for all this "celebrity" bollocks. Behind the facade this "family" put on they are miserable old gits who tried to avoid paying income tax and pay their staff next to nothing, like Trump "you should be happy to be connected to me/us".
