@Shenanigans Hey, there are plenty of great tools out there, if you're happy with what you're doing, by all means stick with it!

I was struggling with VSCode so I looked into it and it was one of the best tool related decisions I've ever made.

@feoh @neovim I used to treat neovim like a second class citizen before discovering kickstart, now I'm in disbelief how my other setups were ever acceptable

inb4 yeah the "setups" being mostly vscode

@tranzystorek_io @neovim Yeah it's a real productivity multiplier, and unlike some tools, the more you invest in learning the various combos, the more quickly you level up.

I got into it because I was struggling with an accessibility issue in VSCode (Their debugger couldn't fit on my laptop screen) and I was able to VERY quickly create a "just right" debugging environment with neovim.

I appreciate the approach of a kick start instead of a distribution and actually explaining how things work instead of just copy paste this monolith.

I'm not a full time neovim user but I'm definitely a comedy enjoyer and got a chuckle out of:
"if you're not familiar with Mason: for my soy latte loving, coffee shop enjoying viewers it's basically like `brew install`... And for my single viewers it's kinda like pacman."

I wish here were on fedi honestly. I guess there are just folks who love Xitter and will stay there until the heat death of the sun. I don't get it but 🤷

Making a living online is hard so I get why people think they need to be where the audience is and that is logistically/fiscally true for YouTube.
But posting a link on Twitter that directs people to video on YouTube and discussion on fedi might be path forward for some.
