@SpaceLifeForm @feld please read the thread you're replying to: curl is planning on dropping the 32-bit Windows builds. How does Debian help here?
If you have a dependency on curl, and you are also stuck using an old 32 bit windows, then at some point in the future, a situation could arise where your old curl can not fetch.
But, potentially, you could boot #linux and use an updated curl to pull the data.
What may happen down the road is that a lot of kiosks may stop working. There are literally many millions of kiosks running on 32 bit windows XP or CE.
@SpaceLifeForm @feld oh, that's a fair point. If WSL also works on 33-bit installs (I've never tried it), you wouldn't even need to reboot.
