Spent some time spooling film inside a changing bag.
6:30 of tmax developer, then stop bath then fixer then rinse, and now my negatives are hanging to dry.
Quick look and there doesn't appear to be light seal leaks. Looks a bit over exposed, that's what happens with iso400 in sunlight and with 1/500 as the fastest speed (on a Beseler Topcon Auto 100). I'm used to my Fujica ST801 which has 1/2000.
At any rate, I confirmed the camera works in auto mode (it sets aperture). #photography #diy

Train rail end of track buffer. Trains no longer go downtown Winston Salem. In fact, the closest train station is in High Point, NC or Salisbury, NC. A shame.
Technical info; Iso 400 film limited my options. I hadn't brought any filters either as I was just testing for camera functionality. Topcon Auto 100 with 53mm f2

Had to do it, the Beseler Topcon Auto 100 has the most wonderful sequence of mechanical noises. crank noise, press the shutter release and suddenly the Seikosha shutter closes, the mirror goes up, shutter opens to set aperture and closes after exposure time, then the mirror falls back in place to block the light and then shutter reopens. Reminded me of an autobot transforming... shutter leaf SLR...
