So ... LibreOffice on my #FreeBSD system just upgraded from 7.6.x to ... 24.2.x.
With new release model #LibreOffice follows #Ubuntu way with TWO major releases each year ... each 2 months before #Ubuntu release so that next #Ubuntu would have enough time to include it :)
Yes - it can be a good marketing move.
Also - it AMAZES me how many people still know/recall that the free/open source MS Office is LibreOffice - even in 2023/2024 - the moment I tell them its LibreOffice and not OpenOffice for more then a decade and that NOW it really works and You do not need paid MS Office at all makes their mind almost go to factory defaults :)

Espechally when they realize #LibreOffice does literally everything they want but better!
