A #beer #travel question for ya'll!
We're heading back to #YYJ (#Victoria, #BritishColumbia, #Canada) and it's been a minute. But, we tend to hit the usual spots.
If you've been there recently, what restaurants or cafes did you enjoy?
We're looking for a fresh perspective.

It's been a while for me too but I've never been disappointed with the place that's right down by the harbour and seaplane landing area. Lovely around sunset and they may even have Happy Hour pricing. Ithaka Greek Restaurant always has.
And, I'm looking for must-visit breweries around #portland and #seattle (East) to hit on my spring #roadtrip.
#CraftBeer
@EllenInEdmonton That for that!
Regarding #PDX (Portland), we start by suggesting #BeerMongers and #Apex (beer bars and bottle shops). Both have a plethora of local and exceptional beers.
Breweries are a bit tougher because has their charm. But #UprightBrewing never disappoints, nor does #ChuckanutBrewing (based out of Bellingham, Washington), #GreatNotion (if you like confection-inspired beer or hazy ipas), #BreaksideBrewery, #CascadeBrewing (fruited source), and finally #LivingHaus and #WayfinderBeer.
For #Seattle, we suggest #PikeBrewing because it's one of the oldest and in the Pike Place Market, #Cloudburst (2 locations), #HolyMountainBrewing, #FairIsleBrewing or #StoupBrewing (or pretty much most in the #Ballard area). But if you're focused on East Seattle, then #RavennaBrewing, #BurkeGilman, #LaddAndLassB #GeorgetownBrewing, or #BigTimeBrewing. Don't forget about bottle shops/draught-houses #bottleworksbeer, #ChucksHopShop, #BrouwersCafe, and #StumblingMonk (#CapitolHill).

Wow!! Thanks so much for all of the recommendations!! Of course, I won't make it to all of them but I keep adding potential destinations to my map and spreadsheet to try to map out the best course. I've saved your notes on my worksheet.
I love Pike Place & downtown Seattle but have visited several times, including a bike ride to #Peddler in Ballard. Since this is a camping trip, I'm mainly saving my urban adventure for #portland, which I've never visited and have heard great things about.
@EllenInEdmonton If this more a camping trip and we had to pick two (maybe three), we'd go with Cloudburst, Stoup, and Holy Mountain.
Either way, we hope you have fun!
@beer
Hmm, they're all pinned on my map but they look to me like they would involve more #seattle driving than I prefer to do on this trip. Now, if there's great transit to and from, that's a game-changer. I've booked a couple of nights in Port Townsend, which is crawling with breweries (and some cider). Will probably get to some of the islands within range of Seattle. #bellingham will definitely be along my route. I'm almost certain to have fun on my journey! Thanks for the #beer tips!
