Good to see that protecting the grimoires is given due respect.

@ChrisMayLA6 @tomgauld @bookstodon One of the most important places whether you live in a city or smaller places is the library, both for knowledge and mental health

Attached: 1 image --My dad once told me that they came for the libraries first. "Not smashing and burning, not in the beginning," he said, "but claiming no one used them and closing them down, one by one. You see, Gabe, when they take away the places that help people think, sometimes people stop thinking altogether." The Outrage, William Hussey #libraries #quotes

@ChrisMayLA6 @tomgauld @bookstodon I, for one, am a fan of digital #libraries that you need #WireGuard to access.

@ChrisMayLA6 @[email protected] @bookstodon Libraries should be disguised as gun shops. No one would dare ban a gun.

"Excuse me, Ms. Gun Dealer. Where is your Youth Fiction Gun section?"

@ChrisMayLA6 @tomgauld @bookstodon the town I live in has ripped up a huge swath of parking lot and is currently- in today's day- building a brand spankin new library from the ground up. It also happens to be walking distance from me and literally next to my city garden plot... I'm still surprised it's actually happening but so stoked.

Forgot Vote! All those local township, county, sheriff, zoning, treasurer, etc. & school board offices matter to an area's sanity level.
@Nazani @ChrisMayLA6 voting for public library supporters is the strongest method for saving libraries where it's an option.

@ChrisMayLA6 @tomgauld @bookstodon

Why? What has Tom Gauld done to libraries?

@ChrisMayLA6 @tomgauld @bookstodon rename libraries to "guns & books" so they become untouchable
@ChrisMayLA6 @bookstodon what about migrating into the darknet? does that count as "black magic"?
@ChrisMayLA6 @bookstodon (libgen and scihub are "living in the future" for me - if everyone has something like the great library at their fingertips we'll live in a better world)
