@Iconfactory sounds cool but I’m not quite sure if I will benefit from it? Right now I’m mainly use feedly and Ivory for Social and news… Can we see the app in action?

@afisch Sorry, there's no app yet - that's what the Kickstarter is for! :) But you can check out the UI mockups on the Kickstarter page for an idea of where we want to go with it, and we plan on posting even more details over the coming weeks.

@metaning We want to build native apps for both iOS and macOS. As such, a Mac app would work fine on Intel and not need an iOS emulation mode. That is also why the Mac is a stretch goal.

@Iconfactory Ahh cool, thanks. Lots of “Mac Apps” on the Mac App Store these days that are M(x)-Only, so presumably just iOS apps.

@Iconfactory Well I am trying to back this but the Kickstarter account creation process is a möbius strip of looping requests for email verification (that is already lapsed) and re-entering account info to only have it now say the email is already in use 😡

@Iconfactory Sounds interesting. Will you plan to also Support freshrss.org ? It is where I currently keep my RSS Feeds consolidated. Reading it with another iOS app called Reeder6 and many apps are supported.

@joshuabeny1999 We're planning on supporting a range of source types, but aside from the ones listed on the kickstarter page, we'd need to research any specific source before being able to say for sure one way or the other. Hitting some stretch goals will give us leeway to explore trickier or less common sources. And of course the app will allow people to create their own source connectors.

@Iconfactory I backed and am making an early feature request.

Please do something similar to Nuzzel. It works find which links were shared the most in my Twitter feed. Clearly not Twitter, however why not surface the most shared links over all the available platforms?

@raminf Appreciate your support! Tapestry will be developed initially for the iPhone and iPad together, so no worries. We hope to reach a stretch goal to bring a macOS version into the fold as well.
