There used to be such care in their craft... This is what Apple TV app on macOS looks like on 3rd party, non-HiDPI displays (which a lot of people still use).

This is why you should use assets specifically for display density. I get that it's more work. Sure... but as my dad used to say, you either do it right or don't even bother.

Apple used to do it right. This sh*t ain't even pixel-aligned.

@marioguzman Weโ€™re a long way from Scott Forstall using a loupe to check icon appearances.
@marioguzman I use a non-HiDPI display for work, and things are pretty dire across the board. It's to the point where my work PC running Windows is often a nicer experience on the eyes at 1x compared to my Mac, which is really saying something.
