OF COURSE we need to compensate CEOs more than 200 times more than the people who actually produce that wealth - it’s the only way to attract top-level, sociopathic, malignant, societal tumours. The really talented tumours are much sought after!

@gnomon There’s also this stupid idea that they should just uncritically take whatever answer is given them, without a followup or a challenge when the answer is bullshit. I’m *very* fond of reporters that don’t let politicians get away with the BS.
