End of the Year Drama Challenge
Day 28: Something you want to see in more dramas?

Getting up there in age makes me want to see more older characters dealing with what life has thrown at them, in relationships, friendships, work & career, those moments that make you stop & evaluate where you've been & where you're going & whether it's worth it.

In some dramas, the side characters sometimes deal with one or two of these things. But life hits hard later & it would be interesting to see the kDrama world address that.

@whoosh
From all of the shows I've watched so far, #Navillera was by far the best at identifying/addressing issues that occur later in life. I also thought that #HometownChaChaCha did well in this area.
There are definitely a lot of excellent actors who are ageing gracefully and could play leading characters. I'd certainly like to see more of that.

@whoosh Oh interesting to see you mention this, I'm new to dramas, so I was wondering if it was just that I didn't find it.

Talking about it, one of the Mexican telenovelas I enjoyed the most had a main couple who was 50+ yo I think (Amores Verdaderos), it wasn't super deep (and the action scenes were the goofiest comedy ever 😂 but it wasn't shallow either), but just seeing people who aged starring in a love story was super cool in itself. Would be nice to see things like this in kdramas too 🙂
