I'm looking for tips for good sci-fi movies that might have gone under the radar, hidden gems. They don't have to be amazing, just enjoyable, interesting or good in some aspect.

Update: Thank you all for the replies. I didn't reply to most of you but I read through them all and summarized them in a list here https://gustavlindqvist.se/fediverse/scifi-movie-recommendations/

Most recommended movies were Moon (2009), Primer (2004), Dark City (1998), Strange Days (1995), and Dark Star (1974)

@gustav
ATTACK THE BLOCK (2011, Joe Cornish) great "monsters from space" action-comedy
SPLICE (2009, Vincenzo Natali) icky bio-horror in the vein of Cronenberg
UPGRADE (2018, Leigh Whannell) - terrific sci-fi/action, violent and fun
THE CLONE RETURNS HOME (2008, Kanji Nakajima) quiet, meditative film on loss and identity
WORLD ON A WIRE (1973, Rainer Werner Fassbinder) very '70s, very German proto-#cyberpunk #virtualreality story
BORDER (Gräns) (2018 Ali Abbasi) - you may know this one, a Swedish production! Not quite sci-fi, but amazing. Strongly recommend you watch it cold, read nothing about it beforehand.
THE ENDLESS (2018, Aaron Moorhead & Justin Benson - really, their entire output, but this film is my favorite of theirs)
UNDER THE SKIN (2013, Jonathan Glazer) A brilliant meditation on alien-ness
TIMECRIMES (Spanish: Los cronocrĂmenes) (2007, Nacho Vigalondo) Twisty time-loop story

@giantspecks @gustav Attack the Block, yes!!! And also World's End, part of the "Cornetto Trilogy". Excellent British comedic thrillers.
@titia @gustav I enjoyed WORLD’S END, need to revisit that one
@giantspecks That seems like a good list. I've seen three of them and I liked all three. So now I'll try to watch the others.
