@acb @uspolitics @cstross Exactly. This is all part of the plan. Educated people tend to be more liberal and vote Democratic. Plus, it's easier to take advantage of a less educated voter base and work force.

Politically, as long as there are more solidly red states than blue states; the Senate, federal court appointments and often the White House can be controlled by Republicans, even though they are a minority of the electorate.
