I had an initial appt with my new GP/PCP yesterday. It went pretty well, but it was weird having to justify why I need a cane, and why I am disabled. For the latter, I was trying to give a succinct reason, and didn't give the full picture because we were in a time crunch. I hope I was taken seriously, and have started a solid working relationship with her.
