If Trump turns into a real dictator and starts killing people, who is going to step up to stop him? Trump is a threat to the entire world, not just the U.S. He fully intends to end democracy in the richest and most powerful country in the world and turn it into a dictatorship. That would be a disaster never seen before in modern times.

@Scotter During Trump’s “vermin” speech, I saw that some of the members of his audience looked scared. I am hoping that some of his followers are beginning to wonder just how far they are willing to go on Trump’s police state train. If we live in a land under martial law, their lives are not going to benefit. Trump has no filter to speak of, and I’m thinking that eventually he is going to say something that costs him the election.

I can't fathom how he could get more votes than 2020. He definitely has lost votes due to his coup attempt and violence. There are more new voters, especially younger, who will not vote for him.
Even so, there are people in Texas, where I live, who can't bring themselves to vote against their party, and their families' party. It's very passive behavior and then they rationalize their vote. Well, Biden is this and that, don't want socialism... We must confront this directly
@Scotter Trump probably won’t get any more votes than 2020. It’s still a year out from the election. The polls also say that he will lose significant support in the swing states if he is convicted of anything, which is very likely.
