Yes, exactly! You can play with your clock however you want but it won't make a winter day any longer.
Attached: 1 image I hate this. I hate the GMT+5 slice most of all. Not that Siberia is great either. +3, +5, +7, +9. If you have a half hour time zone, you failed. Prepare to be recolonized.
Thankfully we don't do it any more. Except we did change timezones twice while I was working on one very popular android app and gosh was it a mess. Instead of picking a timezone with the correct offset, people would change the absolute time on their devices so that the wrong timezone and the wrong time would cancel each other out and display "correctly". Except it messes up all time calculations so you post something and it says "1 hour ago". I had to compare the local time with server time, infer which timezone the user actually meant, and use that everywhere throughout the app.
I don't miss this.
In fact, Daylight Savings Time is the final proof of the existence of the TIME CUBE, which our Masters have tried to keep from us!

@[email protected] STOP DOING DST - Time was not supposed to be different depending on the season - YEARS OF CHANGING THE CLOCK FORWARD AND BACKWARD yet NO REAL-WORLD USE FOUND apart from being a PAIN IN THE ASS - Wanted to get up an hour earlier anyway for a laugh? We had a tool for that: It was called "CHANGING YOUR ALARM" - "Yes please change the time ARBITRARILY. Please rob me of an hour of sleep for no reason" - Statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged LOOK at what governments have been demanding your respect for all this time. (This is REAL DST, perpetuated by REAL people): [Attachment 1] ???? [Attachment 2] ??????? [Attachment 3] ???????????????? "Hello I would like 🕒→🕑 apples please" They have played us for absolute fools 📎 (3)
Sweden introduced DST in 1980, and as a 15 year old, I protested it a lot, including lengthy article in the magazine I was publishing at the time. Not a single shill (read, teachers) could give a reasonable answer to why it should be introduced. Common attempts;
1. "Extra hour daylight in the evening", in Sweden the sun sets at 11pm in the summer. Give me an extra hour in the winter.
2. "Everyone else uses it". No, plus the day it is introduced also varies across the world.

@BigFoxBoss ох, этот парень.
Не, я впечатлительный ипохондрик с тяжелой депрессией, мне такое нельзя смотреть, особенно сейчас, осенью.
@drq
