My budget bluetooth speaker is not doing well. Hey #biketooter what smallish BT speakers do you suggest? Ideally waterbottle size. We use the hell out of it so I'm willing to pay for quality.
@robgalanakis I’ve been using a Sonos Roam and it works great. I even have a waterbottle mount for it!
@robgalanakis not water bottle size but I’ve been really happy with our Ultimate Ears Wonderboom. It has a loop thing so you can carabiner it to stuff. And it’s dust/water resistant. It even floats! 😛 https://us.ultimateears.com/products/wonderboom-3
WONDERBOOM 3

@pietvanzoen I think I'll regret buying anything that isn't usb-c. Any idea when they do a model refresh? I've had UE before and liked it
@robgalanakis I went through many speakers before I found the JBL Charge 3. Good volume and battery life.
@peterdrake oh that looks nice! Perfect form factor, great quality brand
@peterdrake just ordered a charge 5, and it happened to be on sale. Thanks for the rec!
@robgalanakis Some people worry that covering an ear with a headphone might keep them from hearing danger (OR) be blamed for allegedly not hearing danger.
@robgalanakis We have two that we're really happy with. The JBL Charge 3 which is big and loud and great for the cargo bike parties with our kid, and the JBL Go 3 for our solo rides. Impressively loud for the size but obviously nothing like the bigger speakers. Easy to fasten to a skinny road bike.
